The results from the fingerprint scan can take anywhere from 45 minutes to several hours to get back to the jailer and it usually depends on the individual circumstances of the inmate.

 

Once the jailer receives the results, he or she will determine if the inmate is cleared for bail and will officially assign the inmate a court date, a bail amount, and will clear the defendant for bail.
